VIP Cinemas follows MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) guidelines, for restricting movies to appropriate audiences. Specifically, those under the age of 17 will not be allowed to view R rated films without an accompanying parent or adult guardian (at least 21 years old). - You must be 17 years old or older to purchase a ticket for an R rated film
- Anyone under 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years old or older throughout the entire movie
- Valid photo ID is required
- Children 6 and under are not permitted entrance to R rated films
Ushers and theater managers are authorized to verify IDs before entrance to R rated films. Internet or kiosk ticket purchases for R rated films may be checked at the theater; please be prepared with photo ID as R rated film policies apply to internet and kiosk purchases as well. Management reserves the right to refuse entry for those without proof of age for any age restricted show.
